Sharpa Choeje visited at Monastery.
His eminence Sharpa Choeje Lobsang Tenzin Rinpoche arrived here on 8th November 2011 and all the monks from Tawang Monastery welcome to him with full of traditional reception ceremony. He gave Teaching on Dangnge-Lheksey Ningpo by Je Tsongkha Pa from 9th November to 13th November. On 14th November his emienence Guru Tulku Rinpoche, Abbot, Tawang Monastery with all the monks had offered long life ceremony(Ten-Shug).
On 15th he gave long life empowerment to people of Tawang and near by villigers.
On 16th he visited Jamyang choekhor Ling Monastery.
On 17th he visited at Jangchup Choeling Nunnery and Thukje Choeling Nunnery perform Tsok offering.
On 18th he visited Urgenling Gompa, Jigkhob Thongdrol Chorten,ManjushreeVidyapith Orphanage,Khenmey Monastery and War Memorial.
On 19th Visited at Singsor nunnery and after that he departed for Dirang.
Drukpa Sangdue
Drukpa Sangdue started from 22/08/2011 at 3 a.m. headed by His eminence Guru Tulku Rinpoche, Abbot, Tawang Monastery which was attended by around 200 monks. It is a tantric puja worshipping Chakra Samavara, a deity usually followed by Gulukpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The monks prepared Sand Mandala in preparation for the puja a week ago. The puja continued till 25th of August 2011. On 25th of August, there was a fire puja and on 26th of August, the sand mandala was submerged in water. Lots of devotees attended the puja.
